The Cozy Glamping Setup I Put Together – Because I’m Not Roughing It

I’ve never been the type to fully “rough it” when it comes to camping… so I decided to put together a glamping setup that actually feels comfortable—and honestly, I’m kind of obsessed with how it turned out.

I wanted something that still felt like being outdoors, but with a cozy, aesthetic vibe. The bell tent was the starting point—it instantly makes everything feel more elevated and put together. From there, I focused on layering in pieces that make it feel warm instead of just functional.

The outdoor rug made a bigger difference than I expected. It kind of grounds the whole space and makes it feel clean and cozy instead of just dirt and grass. Add in some comfy seating and a small table, and it starts to feel more like a little outdoor living room.

Lighting was a must for me. The string lights and lantern give off that soft glow at night that makes everything feel calm and relaxing instead of dark and… kind of chaotic like normal camping!

I’m not even going to pretend—I needed a real place to sleep. The air mattress is non-negotiable for me. I love camping but I also need a good nights sleep! I also made sure to include practical things like a cooler and table so it’s not just pretty—it actually works for real use too.

This setup is the perfect balance between outdoorsy and comfortable. Something you could do for a weekend trip, a family night, or even just in your backyard.

Safe to say… this is my version of camping!
